Come celebrate the history of the Gardner, Kansas community with a day of fun activities for your whole family at the Festival on the Trails!
The Festival will take place on June 9th from 1:00 pm – 11:00 pm in Downtown Garner, Kansas, and admission is free! Here are a few of the events taking place at the festival:
- Arts & Fine Crafts Show. Local artists and craftspeople will be seeing up their work from noon to 9:00 pm in the 4H building
- Entertainment. Brandon Miller Band and Night Ranger will be performing in the evening. All seating is lawn chair, so be sure to get there early to set up your spot!
- Kids Zone. A plethora of fun activities for the kids will be open from noon to 5:00 pm, including hair coloring, face painting, tattoos, a photo booth, necklace and bracelet making, inflatables, potato sack races, a hula hoop contest, a mad scientist booth, and more!
- Chat Fest Museum. Open to all guests who are over 70 and have lived in the Gardner Township for at least 45 years. This will take place in Kramer Hall at the First Baptist Church from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and will include displays of the history of the area, light refreshments, and a chance to chat with old friends.
