The 2nd Annual Honor Flight Biscuit & Gravy Benefit Breakfast sponsored by the American Legion Post 19 is a great way to support American Veterans and enjoy a delicious all you can eat breakfast. By taking the short drive to Gardner, Kansas from South Creek Overland Park, you can enjoy all you can eat biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee, orange juice, and milk, and your $6 donation will go towards a special trip for American veterans to Washington, DC.
This trip is sponsored by the Honor Flight Network of Kansas City, an organization that runs solely on donations and is dedicated to rewarding our veterans by sending them on a flight with honor to Washington, DC, to spend a day touring monuments dedicated to American military heroes. 100% of all the money Honor Flight collects goes towards paying for these flights, and no money is solicited or accepted from any of the veterans who participate in this program. As of the 1st Annual Honor Flight Breakfast, the organization was able to take over 300 veterans on 10 flights to DC! Find out more about this organization at their website.
