Union Station February Event near Commercial Rental Property in Kansas City

Looking for fun things to do during the dreary month of February?  Luckily, Kansas City is a town that offers a lot of opportunities to add a little a little culture to your wintery days.  The South Creek Overland Park community newsletter is a great way for those looking at commercial properties listings in Kansas City to learn more about the many cultural events the city offers!

The Black Cowboy in the Old West show at Union Station is an example of one such cultural opportunity.  This show, presented by Theatre for Young America, will be on the City Stage at Union Station from 2/18-2/25.  This musical theatre production was written by Danny Cox, well-known songwriter and folksinger, and directed by TYA Artistic Director Gene Mackey.  It focuses on the colorful late nineteenth century black cowboys of the United States, commemorating their history and celebrating their contributions to the Old West.
