2nd Annual Greater Kansas City Myasthenia Gravis Walk, Run and Roll Near Southcreek Overland Park

Enjoy the beautiful spring weather by participating in Kansas City’s 2nd annual Myasthenia Gravis Walk, Run, and Roll. The purpose of the race is to raise awareness about Myasthenia Gravis, an autoimmune, neuromuscular disease, and to raise money for those in Kansas City with this condition. The event includes both an untimed walk around the lake and a 5K run professionally chip timed by Raul Flores Timing Solutions. If you register by April 13th, you will be guaranteed a t-shirt (after that they will be while supplies last).

American Heart Association 2012 Heart Walk with Southcreek Overland Park Tenants

If you are interested in supporting the American Heart Association and getting a little heart healthy exercise yourself, sign up to participate in the American Heart Association Kansas City Heart Walk with Southcreek tenant TEKsystems! The walk itself is either 1 mile or 4 miles, and the whole event will have a festive atmosphere with free giveaways, face painting, booths, local mascots, and other activities for participants to enjoy. It is a great opportunity for friends and family to come together for a fun event and a good cause! 10,000 people total are expected to participate in this opportunity to both pledge to live a healthier lifestyle and to fundraise for research that could save lives. There is no fee to participate in this event. Participants who fundraise $100 will be eligible for an American Heart Association t-shirt.

They have turned fundraising into a competition between 7 teams in their office to see who can raise the most money. Golf Tournament Near Southcreek Overland Park

Looking for a day of golf and a good cause? Check out SAFEHOME’s 19th Annual Golf Tournament at Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate! Nicklaus Golf Club is located at 14225 Dearborn Avenue near our office park in Overland Park.

The tournament, sponsored by Kenny Thomas’ Olathe Toyota and Lee Jeans will be a four-person scramble at one of Kansas City’s premier golf clubs. The tournament will take place on Monday, April 30, 2012, and will begin with a light breakfast, registration, and a putting contest from 8:30-9:15 am. Shotgun start will take place at 9:30, and after the tournament there will be lunch, awards, and a grand prize drawing. The Early Bird registration cost is $145 per player/$580 per foursome, so be sure to sign up by March 30th! Sporting Kansas City Youth Soccer Camps in 2012

Sporting Kansas City will again offer a series of youth soccer camps in 2012 for boys and girls of all ages.

Camps will be offered to the experienced player ready to take it to the next level as well as the player who is newly developing their skills. Campers who attend sessions at our training center in Swope Park will have the opportunity to observe the Pros at practice.

All campers will also receive an Adidas t-shirt.
