Canstruction 2012 Near South Creek Overland Park

Don’t miss this year’s Harvester’s Canstruction event—an exhibit at Ward Parkway Center that both showcases the creativity of Kansas City’s architects, engineers, and contractors and supports Harvesters Community Food Network. Fifteen construction teams will be showing off their “can-do” spirit by building structures entirely out of cans of food. Some of the themes from last year’s Canstruction included Angry Birds, Wizard of Oz, and Connect Four…so stop by the mall and see what clever ideas they will come up with this year!

All of the cans used in this event will be donated to support Harvesters, an organization that serves the Kansas City area by distributing food and other household products, as well as providing other services for those in need. The cans collected from this Canstruction event over the past eleven years have helped provide more than 440,000 meals to feed the hungry! Southcreek Office Park is an active member of the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, an organization which offers its members many benefits and opportunities.
